It should feel good to you, after all it is your home and you should feel comfortable in it. But I do recommend using dark colours in rooms with large windows and/or larger rooms and using lighter colours in rooms that are smaller of do not have that much light. That way the room doesn’t feel smaller than it is. But dark colours in rooms that are larger can really give a chic feeling to it. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of painting a room yourself than you can choose to hire a professional to do it for you. This definitely has its advantages. First of all, it saves you time and energy. Second of all, the paint job will be done faster. And third you can be sure that the paint job will be done nicely and without any paint on places you don’t want it. But if you want to save money and do it yourself, I recommend getting a latex paint sprayer. There are different models for different purposes, but working with a wagner w500 will make the job done way easier and faster than working with brushes or a paint roller. |
